Andrea Navedo
Andrea Navedo, an American writer and actress. Her first role was on the soaps of daytime like One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later years had several secondary roles in primetime television. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977 in The Bronx New York United States. Navedo's professional acting began in soap operas. In the years 1995-97, she portrayed Linda Soto in ABC's soap production One Life to Live. In 1999, she was part of in the ensemble of CBS soap drama Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. Her film debut came by playing a minor role on the show in Girl 6 (1996) then was featured in several episodes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo played in Double Take, an action-comedy film in 2001. The action drama Washington Heights was released the next year. Navedo played a regular role in the NBC Crime series Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. Later, he starred on Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo played a role in several films such as El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo played recurring roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy from 2011 through 2013. In 2013, she starred in the comedy film Superfast! The parody film of The Fast and the Furious series debuted in the year the year 2015. Navedo first began her professional acting career by appearing in daytime soap shows. She was in Linda Soto, the ABC soap show One Life to Live from 1995 through 1997. In 1999 she joined the crew of the CBS soap show Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. The actress made her debut in film as a part-time actress in Girl 6 (1996) and then appeared in episodes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo appeared in Double Take, an action-comedy film from 2001.
